The singing fountains

The famous "Singing Fountains" are also a popular attraction. They delight locals and guests ot the city with familiar rhythms and a light show, and create a fascinating atmosphere during the summer months. Bunardzhika hill

Bunardjik is one of the seven hills of the city of Plovdiv. From the site of the "Alyosha" monument, you can see not only Plovdiv in all directions, but also a large part of the Thracian field. It is located west of the central part of the city. With its height of 108m, it ranks second among the seven. In Roman times it was known as the "Hill of Hercules" because there was a large statue of the mythical hero there. The hill is a favorite place for rest and outings of Plovdiv residents and has been declared a natural landmark.

Plovdiv is the oldest city in Europe with a unique ancient part of its kind, located on a natural elevation - the three hills (the nearby hills of Jambaz, Nebet and Taksim). There you can immerse yourself in the magic of the past. There is also the Roman Theater, also known as the Ancient Theater of Philippopolis - one of the best preserved in the world. The old town is a unique experience among wonderful views, a museum, impressive architecture and culture.
